Most know this Australian singer-songwriter from his hit ‘Song of Summer 2015’, Riptide, but this new single is picking up speed as Vance’s next hit. The Fire and the Flood has a great folk-pop feel for autumn, with beautiful lyrics to go alongside the excellent guitar playing. It starts out as simple slow melody and builds to a crashing crescendo with drums and a catchy beat in the chorus. Singing of a girl who truly encompasses his life, Vance describes her as the ‘fire’ in his heart, and the ‘flood’ that comes after she leaves. Consider this folk favourite to be the ‘Song of Fall 2016’!

This is the kind of song that you listen to on a fall afternoon, while longingly looking through your car window pretending to be in a music video. "Bated Breath" is the perfect addition to any fall playlist!

Ryan Adams has recently been recognized for his cover of the greatly applauded pop album, 1989 by Taylor Swift. His slowed down, beautiful rendition of her song "Out of the Woods" will leave you wanting to curl up on your couch with a blanket, drinking hot chocolate and spending time with your loved ones. This blissful song will make you feel nostalgic for things that you wish had happened, and isn't that what we all want?
