The Passing of the Fall

The leaves illuminate throughout

Their colours dancing in a frenzied thrill

Warding us from the cold and wintry chill

Be still-say not a word and look around

The colours soon will plunge all to the ground

The bitter winter will wipe out all the life

And leave us with a cold and wintry strife

The fall is all a brilliant patchwork quilt

But by the laws it all shall shortly wilt

Be still-look out your window at the marvel of the fall

It will be time soon for its curtain call

Although fall signifies the passing of the summer, we have to remember to appreciate every moment of this season full of splendour and grandeur that sadly always ends too quickly. May your fall be filled with joyful colours that ward away any grief, and may you have a happy and relaxing season.
