Now that another academic awards ceremony has come and gone, we look back on the event and everything that happened to bring the students to where they are today.
This past Wednesday, Holy Trinity students were honoured with a ceremony recognizing their high academic achievements of the previous school year. Students were recognized for having over a 90% overall average, having the highest grade in a certain course, or the highest overall average in their year.
But what gives students that extra little push to receive “academic excellence”? By making note of the following list, you’ll be able to succeed in whatever your academic goal may be!
Find Out Your Best Way of Learning - Whether this is writing down information or hearing it aloud, use your skills to help you make the most of your study time.
Ask For Help - Don’t feel afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand the material that is being taught. It’s okay to ask for help, whether it be a teacher or a friend!
Stay Organized and Manage your Time Wisely - Keep track of all of your major assignments and designate time to each of them to make most of the time given, as assignments can pile up quickly.
Pursue What You Love - By taking courses or creating long-term goals related to what you are passionate about, you will be more motivated to keep up a consistent level of effort.
Never Give Up and Stay Positive- Even though it can be tempting to let yourself become distracted or unmotivated, continue to remember your long-term goals. Keep a positive mindset because you never know what you might accomplish!
Here are some photos from the ceremony this week!
