It was a game for offence, if you like that kind of thing. However, this offence was rather one-sided. The 37-0 quarter-final victory over Notre Dame assured the Titans a semi-final game at Nelson next Friday. The game was a defensive gem for the Titans who earned their fifth shutout of the season and extended their shutout streak to twelve consecutive quarters of play. The game Friday was also a milestone for the offensive unit as they won the game by 35+ points for the fourth consecutive game. Fresh from having the week off after winning the bye in the Richardson division, Nelson will look to stay undefeated this season. They have 181 points for and 32 points against in 6 games this season which rivals HT’s 248 points for and 52 points against in 7 games. The Titans will look to keep their ‘run and gun’ style of offence going and hope that they can break through the Nelson defence; which has been a tough nut to crack this season, as they have been averaging less than one touchdown allowed per game. HT will have to play hard on defence if they want to prevail in what is expected to be a very low scoring affair. For more stats, scores and updates stay tuned, and as always… Go Titans!!!
