Q: I think I've been replaced by my friend :(

A: I’m sorry that you feel that way. I’d recommend talking to your friend about how you feel and hopefully they’ll recognize that you feel like you’re being ignored and change their ways. If they don’t, that’s their loss. You deserve to be surrounded by friends who care about you and your feelings, so you shouldn’t waste your time with people who treat you badly.

Q: How to get over your crush?

A: Take your time. Everyone feels things differently and there isn’t a special formula that can make you wake up the next morning and be completely over someone. Let yourself feel emotions. Cry if you need to and listen to sad music if it helps. However, don’t let mourning take over your entire life - don’t forget to listen to feel-good music as well. I’d also recommend focusing on your friends more, you’ll learn to truly appreciate their presence in your life when you’re less focused on a different part of your life. Also remember that there is a reason that you’ve decided to get over your crush, and even if it hurts, it’s probably for the best that you move forward. You’re still very young and have the rest of your life to meet someone who will feel the same way you feel about them. You can do this!

Q: You guys should do an article about how to choose the right school ? It would be really helpful for us, seniors , who want to apply to uni/college now

A: We actually have an article coming out in the next few days about that exact topic so keep checking our site for updates!

Q: What are the best classical chick flicks to watch?

A: When Beethoven Met Mozart is a good one. Okay but seriously, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, Legally Blonde, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Way We Were and The Notebook are all good options.

Q: Are diets a good thing?

A: Well, it depends. Most of the time people begin dieting for the wrong reasons which can lead to destructive behaviour. If you want to lose weight just so other people will view you differently or that you’ll be seen as “normal” in the eyes of society, you have the wrong motives. If this is the case, you’re at risk of trying extreme diets that really have no benefits and can be harmful to your overall health, like a juice cleanse. Make sure you’re motivated to lose weight because of your own goals and only if it would benefit your health by doing so. Instead of committing to a crazy scheduled diet, commit to the right diet; eat healthy foods and exercise to yield healthy results. For instance, it would be more beneficial if you added juices to your diet instead of making it your only source of nutrients.
