Winter Season Wrap-Up

This winter season was a tremendous success for Holy Trinity athletes. All of the teams tried their absolute best and worked hard towards the end. Their hard work had finally paid off. The amount of dedication and perseverance that all of these players have is truly commendable and Holy Trinity is honoured to have such talented students.
Boys Basketball
Midget: The midget boys basketball team played extraordinarily well this season and they have earned themselves the top spot in the VOLPE division with an 8-0 season! The midget boys basketball team has exceeded everyone's expectations this season and we all wish them luck in the future.
Junior: The junior basketball team are ranked in third place in the first tier with a record of 10-2. They boys have given it their all and have shown a great amount of dedication throughout the entire season. We are looking forward to what else this talented team has to offer.
Senior: The senior boys basketball team has been doing great this season and their sheer tenacity has landed them in third place in the first tier with a record of 10-2 as well. The players have given it their all and they have the success from this season to show for it. They have achieved so much already and we hope to see them achieve even more in the future.
Senior Boys Hockey
The Senior Boys Hockey team, coached by Mr. Consoli, are currently in third place in the first tier with a record of 6-3-1 this winter season. The boys on the team are undoubtedly very talented and they have had great success in this season. We hope that next season will be as remarkable as this one.
Girls Volleyball
Junior: The junior girls volleyball team, coached by Ms. Olmstead and Ms. Mowat, had a difficult season this year and although they placed in the last position with an 0-8 record we hope the girls will have better success in the future.
Senior: The senior girls volleyball team have turned things around for themselves and they have been doing very well recently. The girls are placed fourth in the VOLPE first tier with an impressive record of 5-3. They have doing exceptionally well and we can expect great things from this team.
The winter season was a very interesting one and watching all of these teams play was a pleasure. We wish all of the teams the best of luck in the future and we can only hope that the next winter season is as successful as this one.
